Former Asante Kotoko left-back Patrick Asmah has completed a move to Kurdistan First League side Rwandz Sport Club in the final days of the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old joins on a short-term contract following successful negotiations, with the possibility of an extension based on his performances.
Asmah, a key member of Asante Kotoko’s 2021/22 Ghana Premier League-winning squad, is expected to bring valuable experience to his new club.
The former Ghana U-20 international has previously played in Europe, featuring for clubs such as Salernitana, Avellino, Atalanta BC, and Slovakian side FK Senica before returning to Ghana.
