Just propaganda and lies – Stephen Amoah criticizes NDC’s policy direction

-

Former Deputy Finance Minister and Nhyiaeso MP, Stephen Amoah, has taken a swipe at the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), accusing them of lacking a concrete policy framework to drive national development.

“What is the policy of the NDC? Tell me right now,” Amoah challenged during an interview on Asaase Radio, questioning the party’s direction and approach to governance.

He argued that the New Patriotic Party (NPP), despite being capitalist in ideology, has embraced social interventions while also prioritizing economic growth through private sector expansion.

“It’s good we are talking about the fact that we are capitalistic, which we are supposed to only concentrate on capitalistic policies. We veer into social issues,” he noted.

“The NDC guys, we are supposed to adopt in economics something called expansionary fiscal policies.

That will enable us solely promoting, enhancing, and building the private sector. So that they will expand to employ people and grow the economy.”

Amoah further claimed that despite the NDC’s socialist stance, they have failed to implement policies with a strong national impact.

“The NDC guys, as socialistic as they are, none of the proper policies of national character, or in character, or tenacity, have been implemented by the NDC government. Never.

It’s just about the propaganda and the lies,” he stated.
