Defence Minister Dr Omane Boamah has ensured that the oxygen plant at the 37 Military Hospital is fixed.
Upon visiting the hospital during his working visit to the facility, the minister was informed of the ill state of the oxygen plant, which supplies surgical theatres, intensive care units, and wards.
He was informed that if the plant wasn’t fixed, there could be dire consequences.
In a swift move, Defence Minister, Dr Omane Boamah has ensured that the plat is fixed.
In a post via social media announcing this intervention, he said “I’m excited to announce that, on the president’s instructions, the Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with the National Security Coordinator, has resolved the issue. New equipment has been bought and installed, and oxygen production and supply have been assured for the 37 Military Hospital and the National Ambulance Service”.
