Collins Dauda discharged in Saglemi Housing case, wears white kaftan to symbolise victory

-

Alhaji Collins Dauda was seen leaving the Accra High Court on February 25, 2025, moments after he and three others were officially discharged in the Saglemi Housing case.

The former Minister for Water Resources, Works, and Housing appeared in court wearing a white kaftan, a choice many believe symbolised victory and a fresh start following the legal battle.

The update was shared by GhOne TV on their X page.

The court’s decision marks a significant development in the case, which has been under public scrutiny since its inception.

Alhaji Dauda, alongside the other accused, had faced charges related to alleged mismanagement and financial impropriety in the Saglemi Affordable Housing Project.

The Saglemi Housing Project initially launched to provide affordable housing to Ghanaians, has faced legal and political challenges since its suspension, with ongoing calls for transparency and accountability.
