Ampem Darkoa Ladies have won the Northern Zone of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League for the fourth successive time, setting up a final playoff clash with Police Ladies.
The Techiman-based side clinched the zonal championship as early as match day 17 of the competition, with a three-point difference. Their closest challengers, Dreamz Ladies, stumbled to a 2-1 loss to Supreme Ladies, while Ampem Darkoa Ladies also succumbed 2-1 to Fosu Royal Ladies on Matchday 18.
Regardless, the Nanamma finished the campaign with 12 wins, one draw, and five defeats, accruing 37 points to top the table.
Ampem Darkoa will meet the newly crowned Southern Zonal Champions, Police Ladies, in the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League final on a later date in May.
