Real Tamale United extended their lead in Zone One A with a 2-0 win over Yapei FC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Sunday. Wisdom Jonas scored from the spot in the 9th minute, and Blabala Bamon added the second goal in the 49th minute. Real Tamale United remain unbeaten in their last nine league matches and now lead the table by 13 points.
In Zone One B, Techiman Eleven Wonders moved nine points clear at the top with a 1-0 win over Techiman Heroes. Farouk Ameyaw’s 45th-minute penalty secured the win – taking them to 46 points from 24 matches.
Elsewhere, Wa Power SC climbed to fourth place with a 1-0 win over Tamale City at the Malik Jabir Stadium. Seidu Musah scored the only goal in the 47th minute to take them to 35 points.
