Hosts Ghana head an intriguing Group A lineup, where they’ll face Morocco, Benin, and Malawi in the group phase of the CAF African Schools Football Championship.
The Ghanaian side is eager to seize the opportunity to impress the home crowd as they take on some of Africa’s top teams. Ghana’s recent form is promising, having finished first at the 2024 Zonal Championship in Togo after beating Benin 1-0 in the final.
This follows their silver medal achievement in 2023/24, where they lost to Togo in the final. The girls are riding high ahead of the championship, having made successive final appearances in the WAFU Zone B championships in 2023/24 and 2024/25.
Under the theme “Encourage, Educate, and Engage,” the CAF African Schools Football Championship Ghana 2025 promises to deliver another thrilling edition of Africa’s top school football, complemented by capacity-building programs.
