Hours after his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), the Delta State governor, Sheriff Oborevwori has arrived in Abuja.
The governor touched down in Nigeria’s capital city in the late hours of Wednesday, April 23.
Welcomed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, the newly defected APC member is set to meet with members of the party’s National Working Committee.
Politics Nigeria also gathered that Oborevwori’s visit to Abuja is in preparation for the APC mega rally which is set to take place on Monday.
