Ghana’s U15 boys team is set to face Tanzania in the semifinals of the CAF African Schools Football Championship on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 14H00 at the University of Ghana Stadium.
Ghana topped Group A with impressive wins, including a 1-0 victory over South Africa and a 3-0 win against Algeria. They’ve shown strong performance, scoring 6 goals and conceding none in the tournament so far.
Tanzania, on the other hand, secured their semifinal spot with a 1-0 win over DR Congo in their last Group match, following a 1-1 draw with Senegal and a 0-0 draw with Cote d’Ivoire. They come into the game with defensive discipline and tournament experience, which could prove crucial.
The other semifinal match will feature Uganda against Senegal, with the winner set to face the victor of Ghana vs. Tanzania in the final on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
