GOC Elective Congress: GFA Gen Sec misses out on GOC Board

GFA General Seceretary of Prosper Addo’s bid to serve on the Executive Board of the Ghana Olympic Committee ended in disappointment after he Saturday’s elections.

Harrison Addo polled 28 votes, missing out to George Lamptey who polled 34 votes, Delphina Quaye (53 votes), Kamal Sulley (50 votes), George Tettey (40 votes) and Richmond Quarcoo (46 votes).

The board members of the GOC are drawn from Olympic Sports (5 slots), Non-Olympic Sports (1 slot), Affiliate Bodies (1 slot), and Co-opted Members (3 slots).
