7 months after leaving Winners Chapel, Bishop Abioye starts own church

-

Renowned Bishop and the former Deputy Head of the Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel, David Abioye has started his own church.

Abioye who recently retired from the Living Faith Church under the leadership of David Oyedepo announced the commencement of Sunday morning service at his church.

He made the announcement after the evening fellowship of his group on Sunday, April 27.

Speaking to the congregation at the fellowship, the Bishop said the services would migrate from evening to morning at 8 am.

His words, “Very important information. From next Sunday by the grace of God, our service is migrating to morning. Hallelujah. And the time is 8 am. God bless you mightily in Jesus’ name.”

Politics Nigeria gathers that the cleric’s announcement marks the end of the Sunday evening fellowship – an interdenominational service of brethren.

Recall that shortly after his retirement as the vice president of the Winners Chapel, Abioye launched an online spiritual platform called the Hour of Revival, with physical attendance at the Velodrome of the National Stadium in Abuja.

Stating that the gathering was a result of divine direction from God, the cleric said the initiative was not his personal project.
