2024/25 Women’s Football festival set for May 18 at University of Ghana Stadium

The Women’s Football Festival has been rescheduled to Sunday, May 18, 2025, instead of the original date of Saturday, May 10, 2025. The event, which marks the climax of the Women’s football season, will be held at the University of Ghana Stadium, Legon.

The festival will feature a thrilling double header, comprising the grand finale of the Women’s FA Cup and the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League 2024/25 season.

In the Women’s FA Cup final, Jonina Ladies will face off against Faith Ladies, following their respective victories over Rootz Sistaz and Hasaacas Ladies in the semifinals. Earlier in the competition, Army Ladies FC secured a spot in the semifinals with a 2-1 win over Epiphany Warriors, while Police Ladies FC advanced with a 3-1 victory over Supreme Ladies FC.

The Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League final will pit Ampem Darkoa, winners of the Northern Zone, against Police Ladies, who emerged victorious in the Southern Zone after dethroning Hasaacas Ladies.

The FA Cup final is scheduled for a 3:00 pm kickoff, while the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League Final kicks off at 6:00 pm.
