Wa All Stars Ladies FC have been crowned champions of the 2024/25 Upper West Regional Football Association (UWRFA) Women’s Division One League after an unbeaten run throughout the season.

The team displayed exceptional consistency, determination, and teamwork to lift the league trophy in commanding fashion, affirming their status as one of the strongest sides in women’s football within the region.

Their triumph has drawn praise from across the football community. In a congratulatory message, UWRFA Chairman Alhaji D.S Yahaya lauded the players and technical team for their commitment and resilience throughout the campaign.

He encouraged the champions not to be complacent, urging them to improve further and continue raising the flag of the Upper West Region high.

Alhaji Yahaya challenged the team to emulate the feat achieved by Sung Shinning Ladies FC, who previously conquered the Women’s Division One Zonal Championship playoff.

With the regional title secured, Wa All Stars Ladies FC will now represent the Upper West Region at the upcoming Women’s Division One Zonal Championship playoff, where they hope to maintain their unbeaten momentum and take another giant leap in their football journey.
