Boys U-16 team to resume training camp for Guadeloupe Invitational tournament

The Ghana U16 Male National team will report to the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in preparation for the 7th edition of the Guadeloupe U-16 Invitational tournament, scheduled for May 25, 2025.

This follows a series of screening exercises held at the Glow Lamp Soccer Academy in April for pre-tournament training. Former Ghana international Nii Odartey Lamptey will lead the team as Head Coach, assisted by John Oppong Welbeck and Awudu Issaka.

The Guadeloupe U16 Invitational tournament will feature teams from around the world, providing a platform for Ghana’s young players to test their skills against top opposition from countries including Mexico, France, Brazil, Ivory Coast, and Togo. The tournament will play a crucial role in the team’s development, preparing them for future international competitions.

The following players have been invited to report to the training camp:
