Mercy Tagoe Quarcoo and Joyce Boatey-Agyei are in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for the CAF Women Instructors Development Program’s in-person workshop from May 5 to 9, 2025.
Mercy Tagoe Quarcoo, Women’s U23 Head Coach and Joyce Boaitey-Agyei Coach of Ghana’s U15 Girls team that clinched gold in the CAF African Schools Football Championship, are participating in the program alongside other colleague Women Instructors from across the continent.
Their invitation comes after successfully completing the online modules of the program, a major initiative by CAF aimed at empowering female instructors to play a greater role in the development and professionalisation of women’s football across Africa.
The in-person sessions will include practical training, theoretical presentations, and best practice sharing, all designed to reinforce the skills developed during the virtual stages.
This invitation is a testament to Mercy Tagoe Quarcoo and Joyce Boatey-Agyei’s dedication and outstanding contributions to football development in Ghana, particularly in women’s football. Their participation in the CAF Women Instructors Development Program will undoubtedly enhance their expertise, benefiting Ghana’s football landscape.
