Ashtown Ladies won a thrilling match against Perlpia Ladies beati2-1 in their opening game of the Championship. Blessing Asubia’s early goal (5th minute) gave AshTown the lead, but Perlpia equalized through Iddi Sherifa’s penalty (22nd minute). Comfort Baah Nuako scored the winner for Ashtown Ladies in the 60th minute, capitalizing on a defensive mistake.
In another pulsating encounter, Nasara Ladies took a significant step towards the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League qualification with a 3-0 win over Bolga Sharp Arrows. Anatu Imoro scored two first-half goals, and an own goal from Blessing Vuuzembil gave Nasara an advantage before the match was rained off temporarily. Fouzia Alhassan sealed the win with a 90th-minute goal after resumption.
Candy Soccer Ladies vs. Wa All Stars Ladies
