“Nations FC confident ahead of holy stars clash despite Razak Simpson’s absence”

Nations Football Club’s Brands Manager, Kennedy Boakye Ansah, is confident that his team will manage well in the absence of their captain and key defender, Razak Simpson.

Simpson is expected to miss Nations’ Ghana Premier League match against Basake Holy Stars at Ayinase in the Western Region, which is the second to last game of the 2024-2025 season.

This match is scheduled for Sunday, June 1 at 15:00 GMT and will be the second game Simpson is sidelined for due to his participation in the Unity Cup with Ghana’s Black Stars.

In the Unity Cup, Simpson played the full match during Ghana’s 2-1 defeat to Nigeria at the G-Tech Community Stadium.

He unfortunately scored an own goal in that match, which led Ghana to compete for third place against Trinidad and Tobago this weekend.

However, Boakye Ansah is firmly convinced that Nations will perform well against Holy Stars to keep their title hopes alive.
