Ghana’s coach, Otto Addo, is confident that his team will conclude the 2025 Unity Cup games with a victory.
The Black Stars are set to compete against Trinidad & Tobago in the third-place match today at the Gtech Community Stadium.
The four-time African champions faced a 2-1 loss to their rivals, Nigeria, on Wednesday night.
In a statement made before the match, the 49-year-old shared his optimism about his team’s capabilities, even with some key players missing.
“We already demonstrated a strong response [against Nigeria], and we definitely want to carry that momentum into the second half. Our goal is to end this tournament on a high note, and I believe we have the talent to achieve that; we just need to display it on the field from the start, not just in the second half,” he remarked.
The match is set to kick off at 11:30 GMT.
In the meantime, Nigeria will face Jamaica in the final at 16:30 GMT at the same location.
