Nollywood actress Regina Daniels did not hold back after fellow actress Angela Okorie made what many perceive as a patronizing “forgiveness” post regarding Mercy Johnson’s supposed illness.
In a sharp and fiery response on social media, Regina stated: “With all due respect, Aunty Angela, you dey mad.
“Abeg no forgive because for this side, we no dey forgive. Continue and whilst at it, no forget say she get pikin wey gidigba. No dey shalaye.”
Her message followed closely after Angela Okorie, during an Instagram Live session, claimed to have forgiven Mercy Johnson in light of her reported health issues.
Okorie also took the opportunity to call out Mercy, suggesting that she should apologize to those she has wronged and stop hiding her behavior behind what she referred to as “church words.”
Angela remarked: “I forgive Mercy Johnson but she also needs to seek forgiveness from those she’s hurt. Using church language that doesn’t reflect your real self isn’t the way.”
However, Regina Daniels was not having it. Her straightforward reply, brimming with streetwise energy, seems to echo the feelings of many fans who believe Mercy Johnson deserves empathy, not public “forgiveness speeches.”
This exchange has since sparked a flurry of activity on social media, with fans taking sides—and some speculating if there’s more to the conflict behind the scenes.
