The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, will meet the Chief Executive Officers of the various Ghana Premier League clubs on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
The meeting has been made necessary as a result of the incident that happened during the Asante Kotoko versus Nsotreman FC game that led to the death of one supporter of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The meeting is expected to take place at the headquarters of the Ghana Football Association, where the clubs will agree on the way forward for this season’s league.
Meanwhile, Kumasi Asante Kotoko has announced that all footballing activities have been put on hold for their first team.
The club says until justice is served and the right reforms are instituted and implemented, they will not join the Ghana Premier League.
After his meeting with club CEOs, Kurt Okraku will meet with the leadership of supporters for the various clubs on Friday, February 7, 2025.
