MTN FA Cup: Attram De Visser visit TARSCO ahead of semifinal showdown against Golden Kick today

-

Attram De Visser Football Academy made a strategic visit to Tarkwa Senior High School (TARSCO) on Friday, May 9, 2025, to foster community support and galvanize local backing ahead of their crucial semifinal clash in the MTN FA Cup against Golden Kick FC on Saturday.

The visit, filled with excitement and camaraderie, saw players and technical staff of Attram De Visser engaging warmly with students on the TARSCO campus. The school, which the club has officially adopted for support during the tournament, erupted in cheers as the team rallied the students in a spirited show of solidarity.

While Attram De Visser will count on TARSCO’s passionate backing, their opponents Golden Kick FC are expected to enjoy support from Fiaseman Senior High School (FIASEC), their chosen ally. The two schools will set the tone for the day with a curtain-raiser match at the TNA Stadium.

The highly anticipated MTN FA Cup semifinal is scheduled for Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa, with kickoff set for 4:00 p.m. local time (16:00 GMT). A place in the grand final awaits the victor, who will aim to become only the third second-tier side to reach the final since FC Nania’s historic triumph in the 2010/11 season — following the paths of Okwahu United and Bofoakwa Tano.

Golden Kick FC, representing Zone Three in the Access Bank Division One League, have been in sensational form this campaign. The Accra-based side eliminated Premier League heavyweights such as Accra Hearts of Oak and Karela United en route to the semifinals. In their five matches so far, Golden Kick have scored four goals and impressively kept four clean sheets, underlining their defensive solidity.

Attram De Visser, meanwhile, have also had a remarkable journey to the last four. They ousted Bibiani Gold Stars in the Round of 16 and secured a hard-fought win over Pac Academy in the quarterfinals. The team has netted five goals, conceded three, and kept two clean sheets in the competition.

With both sides eyeing a historic appearance in the MTN FA Cup final, Saturday’s encounter promises high stakes, tactical battles, and passionate support from their respective adopted schools. Football fans can expect an electrifying atmosphere at the TNA Stadium as these Division One clubs fight for glory.
