Usman Hamzat on Saturday, May 10, clinched the All Progressive Congress (APC) primary ticket for the Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government.
Hamzat, who is the incumbent chairman of the council, emerged winner following the primary election of the party, which is still ongoing at the party’s secretariat in Ikeja.
He polled 25 votes, defeating other aspirants at the APC primaries, which took place amid tight security.
