Ashanti Regional Division Two Promotional Tournament Set for May 2-9 at Baba Yara Stadium

The Ashanti Regional Football Association has officially announced the schedule for the 2024 Division Two Promotional Tournament, set to take place from May 2 to May 9 at the iconic Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Eight clubs will vie for the coveted single promotion slot to the Division One League (Zone 2) in a tournament structured into two groups of four. The competition promises thrilling encounters as some of the region’s top-performing lower-tier teams battle for a place in the elite ranks of Ghanaian football.

Group A features:

  • Midcity FC
  • Sasaamo Panin FC
  • Pro Sports Academy
  • Ebony FC

Group B will see action from:

  • Adom FC
  • Acceler8 FC
  • Benab FC
  • Jonnboe SC

The group stage will determine the top teams who will progress to the knockout rounds, culminating in a final where the winner secures promotion to the Division One League.

This tournament marks a crucial milestone in the regional football calendar, offering young talents a platform to shine and clubs an opportunity to climb the competitive ladder.
