Precious Akanguwie named Goalkeeper of the Tournament at 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship

Ghana U-15 Girls’ team goalkeeper, Precious Akanguwie, was named Goalkeeper of the Tournament following her stellar performances at the 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship.

The talented shot-stopper impressed with a series of outstanding saves throughout the four-day international grassroots tournament, held at the University of Ghana.

Akenguwie’s heroics helped the U-15 Girls’ team secure their first championship crown, culminating in a 2-0 victory over Uganda in an entertaining final on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

The third edition of the tournament showcased some of Africa’s brightest young talents.
