The Minister’s office also played a pivotal role in organizing the tournament.

Below is President Kurt E.S Okraku’s appreciation message:

The Executive Committee of CAF wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to H.E John Dramani Mahama for taking time off his busy schedule to join us at the African Schools Football Championship final at the University of Ghana Stadium on Saturday. His presence added immense value to the event, and we are particularly touched by his willingness to stand in the rain to present medals to the deserving players. The gesture speaks volumes about his commitment to nurturing young talent and promoting sports development in Ghana. On behalf of CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe we say a big thank you to President John Mahama for his unwavering support and enthusiasm.

We also wish to extend our sincere appreciation to the Minister for Sports and Recreation Kofi Iddie Adams (Hon.) for gracing the occasion for similarly braving the rain to commend the winners. Your recognition of the importance of school sports and your dedication to the growth of Ghanaian and African young footballers are truly inspiring. Thank you for your continued support and encouragement.
